New CEO enters the team
Elisabet Bøe (42) lives in Førde and is dedicated to ethical business practices, positive social impact, and is passionate about climate and sustainability.
She has previously worked as a project manager for hydrogen in Sogn og Fjordane County, now Vestland County.
“The work she has done at Tibber has been impressive, and we look forward to collaborating with her to take Terravera to the next level,” says Paal Larsen.
Looking Forward to the Work Ahead
Elisabet is eager to begin her new role.
“I am ready to get started on making Norwegian businesses and organizations more sustainable. Over the fifteen years I’ve worked with sustainability, I’ve noticed a recurring dilemma: many want to contribute to the green transition, but it’s challenging to know where to start. I want to encourage more people to use Terravera to solve this problem,” says Elisabet.
“Norwegian businesses need decision-support tools to make informed sustainability choices. Access to objective knowledge is limited, and this is something we aim to change.”
Expanding the Team
The foundation is expanding its team with this appointment. Elisabet Bøe will take over as CEO starting in September. Until now, the role has been managed by Ole Reinert Berg-Olsen and Tord Søfteland, who will now lead communications and modeling, respectively. Tommy Olsen heads the business program, and Andreas Jørgensen is responsible for the student team in Trondheim. This team expansion will increase the foundation's capacity moving forward.
“We see that businesses and organizations in Norway are facing increasingly strict legal requirements and spending significant time on reporting. Often, it’s unclear how this reporting will be used, which can create frustration. Terravera is now ready to address these challenges by providing enhanced industry understanding and knowledge,” says Bøe.
Knowledge Networks
“The way we can make a difference is by connecting knowledge through networks, enabling industries to collaborate for increased understanding in their respective fields. Terravera is structured as a foundation precisely to promote knowledge sharing and create more solid factual bases. This is essential when making decisions related to the green transition,” concludes Bøe.
